Administrator

Theatre Commons LA

March 2024 - June 2024 

  • Built the infrastructure of a new nonprofit, including 501(c)3 paperwork, bylaws, feasibility assessment, needs assessment, field mapping, and community outreach.

  • Created and implemented a communications strategy to build a mailing list and social media following from scratch.

  • Developed annual budget and managed all expenses, reporting, and vendor contracts.

  • Grant support for $600,000 in funding from various funders in Los Angeles.

Interim General Manager

  • Managed HR, contracts, employee onboarding, including onboarding vendors, managing MOUs, and maintaining community relationships.

  • Served as IT administrator, facilities manager, and office manager. Provided project management as needed.

  • Coordinate 3 out of 6 five-week cohorts in partnership with the Department of Cultural Affairs. 

  • Organize marketing efforts and provide administrative infrastructure.

  • Hired as maternity coverage for the Managing Director.

  • Provided support and strategic planning for EAL/LA to become independent from fiscal sponsorship and merge with Arts for LA.

  • Managed the organization's finances and facilitated relationships between the Leadership Council and the Fiscal Sponsor.

December 2018 - June 2020

  • Created the overall fundraising strategy and managed a six-figure program budget while planning all in-house events.

  • Managed the Ovation Awards Program, which consisted of 300 voters, 100 volunteers, 15 Advisory Board members, an intern, and a Black Tie Awards Ceremony attended by over 1,400 people.

  • Developed new initiatives and programs for the sustainability of the Los Angeles theatre sector, working with over 100 theatre producers and leaders.

  • Developed fundraising and sustainability strategies with the management and development team.

  • Planned and executed the annual gala and end-of-year fundraising party.

  • Supported data transfer to a new CRM system to ensure donor tracking was accurate.

Temporary Career Fair Coordinator

Center Theatre Group

October 2018 - April 2019 

  • Contracted to provide maternity coverage for the Program Manager of Emerging Artists & Arts Professionals.

  • Organized the "Going Pro" fair for college students and the "High School Career and College Fair," which collectively attracted over 500 students and theatre professionals.

  • Addressed any event-related issues or challenges, including making modifications to the schedule and/or RSVP process as needed.

Programs and Communication Coordinator

  • Worked closely with board members and advisory board to manage communications, provide relevant information, and plan meetings.

  • Designed and executed all social media marketing and external communication strategies, including managing sponsorship activations.

  • Cultivated and coordinated over $25,000 worth of sponsors for the Ovation Awards within the first 3 months, not including in-kind donations to cover expenses within the awards ceremony.
